Smart Questions publishes books that help individuals or companies make better decisions

More of a bookshelf than a bookstore.  But all things have to start somewhere!!  The books are aimed at someone who has starting to “think about” a subject with a mind open to the ideas and questions that will guide them to the right decision.  So the books deliberately do not provide specific answers based on a decision you have already made, but instead they offer a comprehensive set of questions that will enable you to find the answers that are right for you. Enabling you to make the critical decisions.

"If I have seen further it is by standing on the shoulders of giants"

ISAAC NEWTON (Scientist, 1643 – 1727)

“Judge a man by his questions rather than by his answers”

VOLTAIRE (Writer 1694 – 1778)

The books all follow a similar structure.  A chapter or two explaining the background or 'Situation'. A chapter or two discussing the potential issues, or the 'Complication'.  And then a series of questions and the impact of that question organized in a easy to read table. And all the questions are grouped into sections to make it easy to read.  Finally a chapter with some anecdotes or stories to bring the questions to life.

"Just one question in this book saved me from a CLM (career limiting move). On that basis it is worth its weight in gold."

ADRIAN KING, Chief Operations Officer, Nimbus Partners

These are aimed at the major business decisions with titles such as 'Buying Cloud Computing', 'Selling Microsoft BPOS', ‘Launching in China’, ‘Implementing CRM’ or ‘Selecting a Marketing and PR agency.’

These are for the individual or family looking to make a major purchase or life decision such as 'Sending kids to private school’ or ‘Emigrating to Australia’.

We make lots of decisions which have a huge impact in terms of time or money, but often without considering the implications. So books in this area could cover ‘Buying a high-performance sportscar’ or Running a marathon, triathalon or ironman’
